When Friends Become Family

We are so thankful for what God has done in our lives by bringing us together, first as friends and then as family! We were married on June 1, 2019, and our greatest desire is to serve God together in everything we do for the rest of our lives.

The Huang Life- Weekly Videos

We are trying to post one video for every week of our married life, documenting what we do on a daily basis as we live together, laugh together, and serve our great God together.

Watch the latest videos from The Huang Life on YouTube and follow along with what we are doing!

We also make a lot of other videos about life, ministry, and travel, so we would love it if you would subscribe to our Joshua and Alyssa YouTube channel and turn on our notifications so that you can find out each time we post a new video.

First 100 Days

On September 9 we turned 100 days old! We put together a video that answers a few questions about what those first 100 days have been like and what we are looking forward to in the next 100 days.

Was looking back through email updates you had sent out during an especially time in our lives so would have commented earlier about the Ukraine...first, we have a Deaf couple (sorry they were not present when you came to visit us to interview Pastor Senn) who are from Ukraine. They have recently decided to repent and be more faithful in attendance (circa April 2026) even though we have known them since 2019. Second, we have a sister church that is called Slavic Baptist (they are Ukrainian) and they have some of the longest services of any church you will ever attend but almost the whole church is part of the choir so it is an interesting dynamic to be in the congregation and suddenly realize that you are the only family not represented up front! And after the long service, they have the world's biggest buffet of delicacy/desserts to enjoy. Finally, a matter of prayer, we also have a Russian Deaf couple that is at odds with their Ukraine brethren due to the war. They both post online in the same Deaf forum and now that the one couple has repented, it is causing a bit more friction when they are both in attendance at the same time. We also have a Bosnian Deaf lady who comes from Muslim background who has just recently completed TSOH with our ABF class! Blessings.
